today we the first years aka freshies of singapore polytechnic had our flag day, in which the money collected would be donated to 46 charity homes. the president's challenge. my class was allocated buona vista mrt station. where the population of the public is too little, esp compared to the no. of sp students who went there. this was the first flag day which i bothered to actually ask people for donations instead of standing there like a statue with the tin in my hand. =X but..... but... i onli collect $6.40. very pathetic hor. and 55c is my money. haha. but still pathetic. compared to some of my classmates who collected $80++. wth. those who collected more than $20 are those who went out of buona vista. maybe except benedict aka class rep. haha.

my class seems pretty okay. fun pple. and i actually can see why sp doesnt have PE lessons. walking from one block to another block can be soooo soooo sooo tiring. as good as a PE lesson. okay. i'm exaggerating. but seriously, its quite tiring. makes me realise how small innova and bukit panjang is. lol.

talking about bukit panjang. i heard from alk that must go back to collect o'level cert. i wudnt have known if that guy didnt come to borrow the xbox controllers from me. anyone not collected yet? wanna go together? msg me!!!! btw, can we collect during the june hols?

was supposed to go out for c-rap gang outing today. but my parents didnt allow. the reason: i am not feeling well. haish!

anyway, i got my timetable. as in i checked it online. and i kinda dun really understand some aspects of it. i'm not in the same class as agnes. which is kinda sad. *sobs* the time table also permits me to take up Spanish, since Wednesday happens to be my shortest day from 8 to 12. the class is from 3.15 to 5.15. so, basically, my day ends after 5 everyday. Friday being the longest, 8 to 6.

on friday the 3rd, i got a dental appointment at 10.30, which means i go to skip a 2 hour long lecture. i'll be skipping a lecture on my first week itself. weee! haish. but the thing is, optometry's total population for mass lecture: 48. so its kinda easy to get spotted. i bet within a month the lecturer would memorise everyone's face and names. hah.

my 4 day 3 night camp ended yesterday. it turned out to be much more fun than i had expected it to be. on the first day, we reported at 8.30 at macs, where we were put into different groups for ice breaking. we played some games. and about an hour later we were den allocated into our permanent group. the groups were fire, wind, water, earth and heart. as u can see its from captain planet. "captain planet. he's the hero. lalalla". anyway, i was in wind. then, in our groups we played some ice breakers. and den we called ourself "break wind" and so we were known as the wind breakers. we did our flag which turned out very nice. waiseen's creation. that day we had very early dinner. den around 5-6 we left for bugis. den the moment we got out of the bus. all of the campers, wearing the yellow FO camp tee started running towards the fountain outside seiyu there. we were supposed to get on the fountain and do pillypanja(or izzit billypanja/pillybaja). dunno how to spell. and our seniors told us that if we were ever caught. we were to tell them that we were from nyp's cultural and language society. cunning. but i lurve it. =X that few moment of stomping and cheering and getting wet were sooo cool. den suddenly only mist came out instead of water. and when we finished all the yellow pple (us), starting running away from that place. around bugis. ran and ran and ran and ran. den we had something like this race kinda thing. so every station we went to, we had to perform tasks. etc. etc. places we went to were the esplanade, this underground mrt passage way where pple were break dancing and alot of other places which i dun rmb now. it was already very dark. and all these places were soooo nice! we kept running and running. so tiring. but the pple in the grp were very nice. they kept motivating one another. =) by the time we went back it was around 10+/11. we assembled and den gathered to bathe. onli two cubicles got shower! the queue was so darn long! wait and wait and wait! den went to sleep. and guess wad the aircon spoilt. so stuffy. but no choice gotta sleep.

day 2
woke up quite early. den me and a couple of the girls went to wash up and we didnt want to go back to the bunk so we stayed at the sac foyer. it started to rain. den we had a cheering competition. which our grp won. so we won over all the flags of the five groups. we had some amazing race after that. run around sp. one must bear in mind that so has the biggest campus among all the polys. and with all the blisters on my foot and my annoying sandals which dun belong to me in the first place. running around sp was hell to me! our papa mama didnt want to follow us. den later they said it was because they felt that we might be getting arrogant due to our success. esp after the winning of the flags.

*i am kinda tired now. shall update the rest later*

as per expected i kinda forgot the details of what happened. just that we ran and ran. and we had solo walk. i was the second pair. my partner was a guy called er.. peng ru? =X but he was tough. he kept scolding me for being so quiet and when i jerked after one of them grabbed my blister. haiz. nvm. so, we returned around 2am. and the thing was gonna end the earliest at 4. so we slept. and it ended around 5. where we went back to the bunks and slept.

day3

thanks to rekha's body clock. me, yushaa and rekha got up and left the bunks around 8. we were supposed to assemble at 9.30. den we sat down and chit chatted. third day, break wind's spirit was super high. we were dying for forfeits. during the modified version of scissors-paper-stone, everyone did the same action like as if we told each other. all the games and fun. weee! den we had campfire which started at 12midnight. one event was the SHims. cross-dressing. where each grp sends a guy. chunlong represented us. me and yushaa helped dress him up together with our mummy. he/she was hot! he kinda stole the limelight. but isaac stole it all away! isaac the camp chief. he was super hot in his black bra, black mini skirt and make up, with a little hair do. it was simple. he had a body which most girls would die for. wahah! wish i had the pic to post it! after the campfire ended it was around 2.30am. and it still wasnt the end of the day. we had disco nite. the atmosphere was pretty good. den it ended around 5+. den we went to sleep.

day4
day4 was more of byes are debriefing and exchanging contact. toking about how high we were on day3, etc. hah. i know i was whining about how 4d3n was being too long and stuff. but now after experiencing it, i think it was great!

after the camp i came home unwell. 39.1*C. doctor says must wait for five days and fever doesnt subside i must take blood test. urgh. cos wdl has got alot of dengue. how i wish we can get rid of mosquitoes for good! -20.05.2005 (nice date)

its been quite awhile since i last updated. the sole reason is that i am rotting at home with nothing my to do. my cabletv and computer have become my best friends over the past couple of months. this never-seem-to-be-ending boredom has only caused me to be more short tempered, lazy and whiney. so bear with me pple.

school is gonna start pretty soon. 30th May - when all JCs, secondary schools and primary schools close, we start. how nice! before that i've got a 4 day 3 night camp to attend from the 13th to 16th, and a 1-day briefing cum orientation thing meant for the School of Chemical & Life Sciences Students only. (CLS). oh yah. i was keen to take up a foreign language at SP. i was thinking French, Italian, Russian or Malay. then, my dad kinda talked me into taking Spanish. so i applied for Spanish. Now, all i gotta do is pray that it doesnt clash with my time-table which is yet to be given to me. bleah~ honestly, i think 4 days 3 nights is a very long period of time! hmmm.
